On 23 February 2022, an imaging workshop will be held at the CRC 1194. The programme includes presentations on methods, hardware, evaluation and research data management.

Topics of the workshop:

  • 3D tracking using confocal microscopy
  • 3D imaging using stripe illumination and LIDAR scanning
  • Fluorescence microscopy methods
  • Hardware (resolution, refresh rate, illumination modes)
  • Image evaluation (edge detection, Hough transformation, Sobel filter)
  • Data storage and research data management (file types, image compression, metadata enrichment)
